The purpose of the Electronic Building Identity is to record the current state of the building or the divided property. Their licenses are collected and checked, while at the same time their changes during their lifetime are monitored and checked.

The new system ensures that the identity of the property is released by the engineer who makes the initial entry. This avoids the hostage taking of the owners, which has been observed to date in a number of procedures.

When does it become mandatory to issue it?

  1. In the case of a new building or divided property for which a new building permit is issued.
  2. In case of an existing building during its transfer.
  3. In the finalization of the regularization of arbitrary constructions or buildings that were included in relevant laws.

Who are defined as users of the information system?

  1. The authorized engineers by the owners.
  2. The competent public services.

The certificate of completion will be issued by the authorized engineers. In this, the completion of the information included in the identity card will be confirmed by a statement from the engineers and the National Land Registry Number (KAEK) of the property will be indicated. Each certificate of completion will have a unique number.
